South Africans in action in Zigzag Video Magazine

An all South African production by Zag’s former editor Jem Saville, volume #3 of the Zigzag Video Magazine showcases local surfers, waves, editors, music and cinematographers in 50 + minutes of innovative footage culled from the likes of 360x, Hambloch, Lampeez, Barkhuizen, Wood, Evers, Jackson and Golla, who each provide their own segment.

Highlights include epic Golden Mile barrels and futuristic moves, surreal wave pool action, plenty of Cave Rock, incredible performances by Emslie and Bryson in their home waters and sessions in Indo that make you want to pack your boards and bail for the tropics. Also great tunes by Tweak, AK Massive, Justin Bergh, Fuzigish and Leek, underground rockers THC, Koosh and Martin Rocka and surf bands like Sideshow and LP Show that keep the feet tapping.

Deserves a place in the video library of all hardcore enthusiasts / patriots (you may be in it!) and anyone who has, or is about to visit SA’s shores, although the purists may be frustrated by the ultra brief caption displays that require rewinds and the absence of local performances at Dungeons, J-Bay and in the Durban mid-year international circus.
